Base Mounted Electric Vibrator Motors
Our standard range of electric vibrators are manufactured with either 2, 4, 6, or 8 pole winding configurations, to give fixed rotational speeds of 2880/3456 rpm, 1440/1728 rpm, 960/1152 rpm, 720/864 rpm respectively at 50/60 Hertz.
Invicta base-mounted rotary electric vibrator motors, sometimes known as unbalanced motors or shaker motors, are attached to pieces of vibratory equipment by either four, six or eight fixing points drilled into the foot of the motor.
Each frame size of electric vibrator motor has its own unique fixing locations and these dimensions are consistent across the range of products.
BL & BLZ Series
The BLz series is our standard vibrator motor and is therefore also suitable for non-ATEX zones.
The BLz series of base-based electric vibration motors are certified for use in ATEX 21 and 22 (dust) areas.

BLT & BLTz Series
The base-mounted BLT/BLTz series of electric vibrator motors comprises a heavy duty vibrator motor which incorporates a thrust bearing proving particularly suitable for vertical mounting.
The BLT series is for use in normal environments whereas the BLTz range is certified for use in ATEX Zones 21 & 22 (dust).

The 2 and 4 pole versions of BLz 03, 05, 15 and 20 can be powered by a single phase electrical supply if they are connected in the Steinmetz connection.
This combination of starter box, containing start/run capacitors is a proven way of using three phase vibrator motors with single phase supplies.

FBL & FBLz Series
The base-mounted FBL/FBLz series of electric vibrator motors incorporates a special low height frame design offering an alternative foot mounting arrangement.
The FBL series is for use in normal environments and a limited number of the FBLz range is certified for use in ATEX zones 21 & 22 (dust).

The EBK 20-40 frame sizes are approved for Gas Groups IIA and IIB and frame sizes EBK 45-75 are approved for Gas Group IIA.
